Hi, I’m Marie. Welcome to Anglia CPR!!
My aim: Is to provide high quality and evidence based teaching and learning of life saving skills. I believe that anyone can confidently learn to act in an emergency through practical and engaging training. I am striving to be more than the just your average trusted training partner, also working to raise the profile of national campaigns across our communities with informative events, talks and awareness sessions.
About me: I am an NHS Nurse with over 20 years experience (MSc, BSc, DipHe). I have real life and real time experience of caring for unwell and injured people, and their families. I have undertaken additional, quality assured, First Aid Instructor training. In addition, I hold approved accreditations in Basic, Immediate and Advanced Life Support (Adult and Paediatric) and regularly facilitate on Resuscitation Council UK courses. To ensure that my practice and teaching remains contemporary, and in line with National and European standards and HSE Requirements, I undertake recertification, revalidation and annual skill evaluations. My internal quality assurance is facilitated by my partner ProTrainings Europe Ltd.
If I’m not training or talking, I can be found walking my dog or on a horse.
My Values: I work actively to ensure a compassionate, supportive and fun (!) learning environment for all individuals and teams. I do not teach from a place of fear. You should leave the training experience with confidence and positivity. I place high regard on communication, leadership and teamworking skills. I aim to deliver training that meets your needs, and allows you to practise skills which are relevant to situations you may come across. Training should be accessible and affordable - I will work with you to develop the most effective quotation.
Sustainability:
I am committed to making my business as eco-friendly as possible.
-Offering public courses locally to my home to minimise travel
-Offering on site training packages
-Courses Administration - supporting move to online course booking, invoicing, receipts, registration, evaluations and certification
-Reusing training equipment where possible and in line with infection control / hygiene standards
- Minimising unnecessary glove use. Whilst gloves are effective PPP in the real world of First Aid, they are not always required in the training environment.
- Optimising electricity use in the training room - ensure computers are in energy saving mode and ensuring the projector is turned off when not required, e.g. during practical elements of the course
- Choosing a digital first business bank - branchless & paperless and who have ethical partnerships.
