Flexible First Aid Training

Ensuring tailored and bespoke training options.

Is it that time to renew or update your First Aid Qualification? Are you attending training for the first time? The reasons for attending a first aid course can vary. Whether you are undertaking the course to meet legislative requirements, for insurance purposes or simply because you have a interest in learning life saving skills, I am committed to ensure that you receive the right training.

One First Aid Course does not fit all…

Most of us have been on some sort of training where we have come away thinking that was really interesting - but I’m not sure how I will apply this to my environment. All First Aid Courses have core topics, teaching you how to act when presented with a different range of illnesses and injuries. Anglia CPR goes further.

Bespoke and tailored courses…

I offer a wide variety of first Aid Courses:

Specialist content includes;

Equestrian First Aid, Outdoor Pursuits, Sports First Aid, Activity First Aid, Forest Schools First Aid.

These qualifications are adapted to include injuries and illnesses that might occur in these environments and where emergency help might be more difficult to access.

Additional learning outcomes include sprains and strains, heat and cold emergencies, fractures, head injuries and poisoning

Courses for unique roles:

First Aid for Teachers, First Aid for Fitness Instructors, Parent First Aid, First Aid for Nannies & Au Pairs

Specific and relevant role based scenarios - encouraging you to problem solve and be creative and retain the key messages should accidents happen.

How I work with you…

I have extensive teaching, mentoring and coaching experience. I am able to utilise an range of training methods to meet all types of learners’ needs.

Visual learners will be empowered with pictures and demonstrations of skills

Kinaesthetic learners will have lots of opportunity to have hands on practise and get real time feedback from the equipment used

Social learners will be motivated by the team working activities within the sessions

Let’s have a conversation…

Before the course I will arrange a time to talk with you to find out why you are attending the course, your worries and needs, your past experiences, existing knowledge, what your day to day looks like and any themes of accidents in your setting/role. Primarily, this ensures you are booking the correct course. Most importantly, from this we can put a plan together to identify what your learning needs are and ensure that we run through potential meaningful scenes that you may face.
